Recently, the Indonesia Best Electricity Award (IBEA) 2025 ceremony was successfully held in Jakarta. CHN Energy Jawa Power Plant was honored with 2025 Best Independent Power Producer (IPP) award, which recognized its outstanding performance in the energy and power sector.

The Indonesia Best Electricity Award (IBEA), a national-level recognition for the power industry established in 2015, aims to honor enterprises and individuals contributing significantly to renewable energy, traditional power generation plant, operation and maintenance, innovation leadership, and the electric vehicle ecosystem (EV ecosystem). Focusing on promoting innovation, cooperation, transformation and development in the energy and power industry, the Award serves as a strategic communication platform between enterprises and regulators.

Since the beginning of 2025, CHN Energy Jawa Power Plant has adhered closely to the strategies of “making progress while maintaining stability, prioritizing safety while favoring innovation-driven and high-quality growth”, continuously strengthening its foundation for workplace safety. From January to June, the Plant achieved 6.765 billion kWh of power generation, with a market share of 108%, maintaining its leadership in the regional market. Its unit indicators rank top among Indonesia’s thermal power units, achieving the four “zero” goals (zero unplanned shutdowns, zero fire risks, zero injuries, zero equipment accidents) for four consecutive years, setting the best Actual Availability Factor (AFA) record for the power plant units in Indonesia’s grid.

While playing a crucial role in safeguarding Indonesia’s energy security and ensuring the steady and reliable supply, the Plant actively fulfills its social responsibilities by caring for local villagers, promoting the “Hope Village Project”, launching the “Annie’s Wish Initiative” Student Aid activities, and implementing mangrove and wildlife ecological protection projects. It has established a “symbiotic relationship of mutual benefit” with local communities, earning high praise from local government authorities, the public, and all sectors of the society, and has achieved remarkable economic and social results.
