On July 15, “Pneumatic Accelerator Chamber and Pulverizer Reject Discharge Equipment”, independently researched and developed by Shandong Shouguang Company, received a practical new utility model patent authorization from the China National Intellectual Property Administration. This patented device successfully addresses issues that occur in blockage in pulverizer reject discharge systems, including excessive workload for disassembling the pneumatic accelerator chamber, inconvenience of moving cumbersome equipment, and time-consuming defects, significantly improving the level of safe production.

The patented device has achieved three major innovations in structural design. The feeding port is connected by a horizontally arranged folio clamp, with hinges on one side and quick-release fasteners on the other side, which can be released and tightened by disassembling the quick-release fasteners only; the discharging port is connected by a sleeve, with the inner cylinder welded to the accelerator chamber’s discharging port; and the outer cylinder is installed in the conveying pipeline and sealed with graphite packing, so that there is no need to dismantle the discharging port fasteners when removing the discharging port. In addition, the bottom is set up with a flat plate with four horizontal swivel casters, which ensures the same height of the discharging port cylinder’s centerline when disassembling and assembling, and is convenient for quick movement.

After the patented equipment is put into operation, its innovative connection eliminates a large number of fastener disassembling and assembling workload; the bottom swivel caster design makes the equipment, weighing above 70 kilograms, now easy and quick to move by only one person rather than several persons like before. The successful development and application of this patent has successfully solved the practical problems plaguing the industry, laying a solid foundation for guaranteeing the safe, stable and clean operation of the power plant, and highlighting Shouguang Company’s innovation strength and sustained capability of overcoming all difficulties in the field of power equipment maintenance technology.
